The 12 month part time residency program is undertaken as 1 day class every month. You will be able to start patient cases and follow it up till the treatment is over. You are also encouraged to start on patients in your clinic. The astute participants gets a specially designed course whereby they are directly given AFO New York Fellowship certification and they will be eligible for the 3 day class in New York. AFO provides you with the most complete handson orthodontics training courses! International students can also apply for the course. We also have a short term clinical course which you can do over few months. Every batch will get at least 1 class taken by AFO New York Director, Dr Ravi Kumar.
This course is intended for dentists who have little or no experience in orthodontics and want to learn to incorporate it into their practices or progress from removable appliances to a comprehensive, fixed technique. This is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on course which will help you to increase your practice base. This course also comes with a free 5 year post-course mentoring.

Case Review & Post-Course Mentoring No extra charges will be levied for the post-course mentoring of all new and in-progress cases for a period of 5 years. This post course mentoring is the unique highlight of the course as this will allow the participant to discuss their cases as the treatment progresses. Short Term Comprehensive Fellowship Certification Course in Orthodontics – 2 months short term intensive seminar and handosn course with clinical on patients including full mouth bonding and follow up at each stage of treatment. This course is for the busy dentist who wants to experience everything in Labial orthodontics at one go. This is a one-on-one course usually organized at any time the student wants it after prior booking. Lingual course can also be included for a Post Graduate Diploma certification. After registration to the course, the participants can select patients in their clinic and bring the cast and photographs with them for the course so that they can start on the patients when they get back to their clinics (please contact us for the details).

With over 11 years of academic and clinical experience in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, I am currently working as a senior lecturer in Faculty of Dentistry, SEGi University, Malaysia since 2015.
